A Celebration of the People
Zinfandel, carignane, and petite sirah from pioneer vineyards in the heartland of California. Dark, sexy, exotic, opulent, and delicious. Perfect with bistro, burgers, hearty pastas, and pizza. The People have spoken!

In our travels 'round the California wine country, we have discovered some wonderful vineyards that were planted a couple of decades after the Gold Rush. Each year we select out the best fruit from these vineyards. These ancient, low-yielding vines produce an intensely concentrated and spicy wine, which we age in predominately new French and American oak barrels. The result? ZaZin!

Our ancient vineyards lie high on the slopes of the Andes in the Luján and Valle de Uco regions of Mendoza and produce deep and dark, spicy and aromatic wines that are full with ripe, juicy, black fruit flavors, and inviting, complex textures. SUSTAINABLY FARMED. Enjoy as the Argentines do, with pizza, pastas, and simply grilled meats.

Deep in the heart of the Valle de Uco lie two remarkable vineyards. Both sustain ancient and low-yielding vines on the high, rocky plains of the Andes, far south in Mendoza. One yields black fruit of great concentration and depth; the other is more graceful and supple. Both are SUSTAINABLY FARMED to ensure purity of aroma and intensity of flavor. Together they create Tierra Divina, a delicious , exotic, and deeply complex malbec that matches beautifully with hearty pastas, complex latino dishes, and grilled meats.
Over the years, we have discovered some great old malbec vineyards on the high altitude foothills of the Andes. Our favorite lies in the isolated sandy and rocky plains of far southern Mendoza, where the horizon stretches endlessly down to Patagonia. Here we SUSTAINABLY FARM eighty year old vines to grow a pure, genuinely magnificent malbec: deep, dark, concentrated, exotic, and worthy of ageing. We work hard to make this special and very limited wine, and we think you will agree that it is Worth the Effort. Or as we say in Spanish: "Vale la Pena".
